Equality and Diversity
The College believes in open access to its equality and diversity polices and monitoring information. The information is divided into 5 categories which are listed and linked to below. The first link contains the single equality policy. The next three links will open information directories containing both previous and current policies, including action plans, of each of the 3 main topics covered. The fifth and final link contains all the monitoring information for the three areas.

Equality Objectives
1. Ensure that the College’s commitment to staff and students, including those with protected characteristics is maintained and embedded into its revised policies and practices by December 2013.
2. Significantly increase the effectiveness of Equality and Diversity in Teaching and Learning by July 2013.
3. Improve staff and student awareness of the New Equality Act by July 2012.
4. Improve the monitoring, analysis and availability of E&D data and implement actions to narrow any gaps by December 2012.
